Mission Statement

My mission statement:  After nights of re-writing my wedding vowels over and over again in my head I decided I needed a writing project, and this is it.

I am a foodie, a fashion person, a shoe collector, a jeweler and a hostess, but most importantly I am a classic.  There are a lot of blogs about food and fashion.  I wanted my blog to be more.  I wanted to show anyone how to be a great hostess, fabulous friend and a classic.  Afterall I am from DC and doesn’t every real DC woman want to be a classic deep down inside?

So this blog will be about entertaining inside and outside the home.  It will be about maintaining yourself as a classic.  I go through DC and see so many people my age who just don’t know the art of being a great hostess, being elegant, and being classy.  If I help that at all I will consider my blog an amazing success.  If I don’t then at least this was a great project for me.  After all a blog in its essence is for it’s creator.  An outlet to show who they are to the world.
